Hana Budišová Colombo; flutist – graduated at the Brno Conservatory, she then specialized at the Music Faculty by the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. She won many national music competition; in the 1990 she received a spcial prize from the Czech Music Fund Foundation for the best interpretation of the B. Martinů First Sonata for flute and piano. She performed many concerts in Czech Republik, Germany , Bulgary and she also worked as teacher at the catholic Conservatory “Collegium Marianum” in Prague.
From year 1996 (when she moved to Italy ) she carries out her flutist activity as solist and in several chamber music groups by performing many concerts in Italy and in Czech Republik. Her repoertoire ranges from baroque up to the 20° century music, with particular interest for contemporary bohemian composers. She collaborated with the Midi Music Studio czech edition company and, as composer, with IQ Media Brno.
Presently she is a member of the scientifical committee of the “Jan Novák laboratory” of the Civic Music School “Zandonai” at Rovereto-Italy; she has many collaboration with the Association of Czech compatriots by the General Consulate of Czech Republik in Milan-Italy; she is also a member of the Czechoslovak Society of Arts and Sciences (Local Chapter Brno). In Italy she has an intese activity as teacher of flute and chamber music.
